SHANG PALACE – Shangri-La’s Chinese restaurant with an amazing ambience and perfect for indoor/ outdoor sitting, features an exquisite wall application designed and finished by Chalk 29. Impeccably synchronized with the theme Chinese, the wall projects a chunk of coins in an interesting fish scale pattern. Each coin is engraved with very fine Chinese motifs which imply goodwill and positivity for the place. E.g. dragons, lucky numerals, ancient Chinese coins etc.. Finally stained with antique rustic Bronze, the deliberate mix of materials lend a unique look and feel to the feature wall. Here, the essence lied in bringing about the correct antique finish on coins and making them look a hundred years old whilst working in present date.

Chalk 29 offered unique coffee tables for the lobby décor of Le Meridien, New Delhi. Customized prints (world map with cocoa beans and Indian heritage) baked between glass pieces looked exquisite with coffee mugs kept on it.

Natural quartz pieces beautifully strung to a metal structure with warm yellow lighting resulted in a sure shot head turner for the viewers. A metal accordion table served as a perfect side décor accent for this space.
